Founded in 1930, our Schenectady location started with the original owners making candy in their home and selling it from their porch. Demand quickly grew—especially from Bishop Gibbons School right across the street—and the little house soon became a beloved Schenectady staple. To this day, many of those traditions remain. We’re still that hometown candy shop, crafting everything by hand with fresh Belgian chocolate. Summers may be quiet, but the holidays bring generations of families through our doors, each with stories of how their parents or grandparents first introduced them to the shop. This is the small family-owned place where it all started.
