Our most popular candy! Almond butter crunch is cooked in a copper kettle, poured on a marble slab, then drenched with chocolate and sprinkled with diced toasted almonds! We make it very thin, and coat it with a fair amount of chocolate without over drenching it, and then we sprinkle on just the right amount of toasted almonds at the end, being careful not to throw off the balance and mouthfeel. Crispy, buttery and fresh! We designed our Almond Butter Crunch (or call it Butter Toffee if you prefer) to be crisp and fresh and to be eaten as a fresh product. It has a three week shelf life because it has so much butter. It is impossible for it to sit because when you start eating it you will find that it is addictive! We ship this product to all fifty states and everyone from movie stars, to famous singers, to a President of the United States has enjoyed this buttercrunch. Try our Delicious Copper Kettle Caramels: Creamy, Soft and, quite frankly, Simply Wonderful! We slow cook our caramels in our antique copper kettles using our 80-year-old recipe. Full of natural vanilla extract and real creamery butter, our caramels are the way you remember Grandma used to make.

Founded in 1930, our Schenectady location started with the original owners making candy in their home and selling it from their porch. Demand quickly grew—especially from Bishop Gibbons School right across the street—and the little house soon became a beloved Schenectady staple. To this day, many of those traditions remain. We’re still that hometown candy shop, crafting everything by hand with fresh Belgian chocolate. Summers may be quiet, but the holidays bring generations of families through our doors, each with stories of how their parents or grandparents first introduced them to the shop. This is the small family-owned place where it all started.

Call our Schenectady store at (518) 372-2284 to place a shipping order. Chocolate melts, breaks, and sometimes doesn’t arrive the way we intend. Shipping costs have also increased, and Priority Mail deliveries are taking longer than they used to. We are happy to ship our treats anywhere in the U.S., but we want to be transparent about cost, set realistic expectations for delivery timing, and review which items may be more prone to damage in transit.

Please specify the Date and time you will be picking up the strawberries, you can order at a minimum of 24 hours in advance. Our strawberries are fresh every day and made within the hour of pickup time to ensure a fresh delicious chocolate covered strawberry taste everyone loves!
